The Teaser Trailer for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Has Us the Most Excited We’ve Been For a Thor Movie
The Thor movies, while enjoyable, have never been the strongest entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor: The Dark World was especially disappointing, and not just because it completely wasted Christopher Eccleston to such a degree that many didn’t even realize it was him under the villain’s makeup and vocal distortion. Things seem to be turning around though, as Marvel released the first teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok earlier today.
And it looks amazing.
From start to finish, with the driving Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song blasting, the entire trailer indicates that we’re about to get a very different Thor film than the last two outings. Okay, so it feels a little Guardians of the Galaxy-ish, but as they’re both parts of the cosmic corner of the MCU, it actually makes a lot of sense. So yeah — watch it.
Thor: Ragnarok comes out November 3, 2017.
