The team has been hired to provide security for the Sanctuary of Mercy, and stuff has gone incredibly sideways. The magical items have shown up week’s early, there are little people in the walls and a mind flayer (which is not supposed to exist in this world canonically — there aren’t even rules for that!), and everything is just sort of a mess.
